Location is stunning with beautiful views of the Loch. We saw Red Squirrels and Red Deer on the property which was a nice bonus. The countryside is breathtaking and there are plenty of nearby attractions like castles, gardens, and stone circles. Being able to take a day trip to Mull, Iona, and Staffa was a highlight. The accommodation was comfortable and had a washing machine, which was convenient.

The drive to the property was quite long, about 25 minutes along a narrow road with passing places. It would have been nice to have a DVD player in the accommodation, although the owner kindly loaned us an HMI cable to watch DVDs through our laptop.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the cottage. The soft floral wallpaper and the comfortable armchairs made me feel like I was in my own little country retreat. The general areas of the property were well-maintained and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the cottage, with everything conveniently located on one level and no stairs to climb. It was perfect for someone like me who values comfort and ease during their vacation.

I would have loved to have a few more activities specifically designed for senior guests. Perhaps a gentle exercise class or organized walks led by the staff.

The cottages are situated quite a distance along a single track road, which may add some extra travel time to your day trips.
